Disclosure & Security
As an organisation using the CRB disclosure service to help assess the suitability of applicants for positions of trust, Civil & Corporate Security complies fully with the CRB Code of Practice regarding the correct handling, use storage, retention and disposal of Disclosures and associated information.
In accordance with Section124 of the Police Act 1997, we recognise that it is a criminal offence to pass this information to anyone who is not entitled to receive it.
In accordance with the Data Protection act 1998, we retain all information in secure repositories. Only persons with authorised access are permitted to view the information. All correspondence is securely disposed of after the requisite time period normally 6 months.
